In Brief
Elm Fork Foundation Repair is a referral service. We put homeowners in and around Denton, Texas in touch with a foundation repair company near them. Passing on a request takes a little information about you and the house. This page lists what we collect and who handles it. It also says how long it's kept, and how to see, fix or delete it.
What the Forms Collect
The short form asks for four things. They are your name, a phone number, the city or ZIP code of the house, and what you've noticed. The longer form on the estimate page also asks when it started. It has a spot for an email address too, which you can leave blank.
Each form ends with a consent box. Ticking it says we may get in touch about this request.
A form also sends three things you don't type:
- The page you sent it from, and the town that page covers
- Any campaign tags in the link that brought you here, such as an ad's name
- How long you took to fill it in, which helps us catch spam
Where a Form Goes
- When you press send, the form goes to this website. Cloudflare hosts it.
- A short script on the site checks the entries and packs them into a single message. The website keeps no copy, and there's no database.
- Delivery to our mailbox is handled by Resend.
- From there, the request is forwarded to the company that covers your area. They then contact you about the free inspection.
Phone Calls
Our phone number runs through Twilio, a business phone company. To connect a call, Twilio handles your number, the time of the call and how long it lasts.
Every call is recorded, and the greeting says so first. An automated assistant answers. It's built on Vapi, an AI phone platform. Vapi uses other companies to turn speech into text, to run the AI language model and to make the voice you hear. The assistant writes down what you say as you talk.
It asks for the same things as the form. So it will ask who you are, where to call you back, which city or ZIP code the house is in, what you've seen and since when.
Once you hang up, we receive one email, delivered by Resend, holding the audio file, the transcript and a few lines summing up the call. After it arrives, we have the call erased from Vapi's systems.
If you'd like a free inspection from the call, the company for your area gets your details. It also gets the recording and transcript, so it knows what you said before it calls you back.
Sometimes the assistant can't take the call. In that case the line falls back to voicemail, recorded by Twilio. A Cloudflare service turns the message into text, and Resend emails us the audio and the text. Twilio's copy is then deleted, so the only copy left is in our inbox.
Don't want your voice on a recording? The form gets the same request to us in writing.
Text Messages
Texting isn't switched on for our number. This page will say so before that ever changes.
Who Can See Your Details
- The foundation repair company for your area. It's a separate business. Once your request reaches it, its own privacy rules apply, not ours.
- The companies that run this site for us. Cloudflare hosts the site and writes out voicemails. Resend sends our email, Twilio carries the calls and Vapi runs the phone assistant, along with the speech, AI and voice companies Vapi uses. The company that hosts our mailbox also has access to what lands in it. None of them may use your details beyond the service it provides us, and each has privacy terms of its own.
- A court or government agency, when the law makes us share, such as under a valid legal order.
We Don't Sell Your Details
We never sell or rent your details. That goes for advertisers, data brokers and anyone else. The company that gets your request may pay us for it, and the referral marketing disclosure explains how. The only reason it receives your request is to arrange the inspection.
Cookies and Tracking
No cookie on this site tracks you or serves ads. There's no analytics, ad code, social media button or tracking pixel either.
Like any website, it gets some basic details when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. Cloudflare uses these to serve the pages and guard the site against attacks. It may also set a security cookie. We don't use any of this to work out who you are.
Retention
None of it is kept on the web server. Your request stays in our inbox, along with any call recording or voicemail. The company that takes your request keeps its own copy. It stays there while your inspection is being arranged, and afterward as part of ordinary business records. Resend, Twilio and Vapi each keep data under their own rules.
Deletion is yours to request at any point.
Your Choices
You can ask what we hold about you, and we'll tell you. You can also ask us to fix it or delete it. We'll reply within 45 days. To make sure a request is really from you, we may first call the number on your request.
If your request has already gone to a foundation repair company, we'll tell you which one. That way you can ask them too.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners, not for children under 13. We don't set out to collect anything from children, and we'll delete a child's details if we learn we have them.
Security
Everything between your browser and this site is encrypted in transit, and a sent form leaves no copy behind on the site. Still, no website can be fully secure. Please don't put bank or card numbers in anything you send us.
Changes
If the way we handle your details changes, this page changes too, along with the date at the top.
Contact
Have a privacy question, or want to see or delete your details? The contact page works, and so does (940) 535-7201.
