Referral Marketing Disclosure

We Refer; We Don't Repair
This site puts homeowners in touch with a foundation repair company that works near them. Elm Fork Foundation Repair takes your call or form and passes it on. Inspecting the house, and any repair after that, is that company's job.
We have no crews or trucks, and no equipment, so none of ours will turn up at your house. We don't do home inspections or give engineering opinions either. The company you reach handles those. Below, we explain how a referral works and how we're paid, so you can weigh what you read here with the full picture.
Who Pays Us
Not the homeowner. Booking the free inspection carries no charge and no promise to buy anything.
Payment, if any, comes from the company that gets your request. That could be a set fee for each request we send. It could also be a fee to get this site's requests for a set stretch of time. They treat it the way they'd treat an advertising bill. We'll never send you a bill.
Where You Stand
The company you deal with is independent. It doesn't work for us. It sets its own prices and schedule, and it chooses its own repair methods. Any contract you sign is with that company alone.
This site doesn't score, rank or review contractors. Nothing here guarantees anyone's work. A few early questions are worth putting to any company. Ask for proof of insurance and the job in writing, and ask what part an engineer plays. In Denton, every foundation repair needs a permit and a plan sealed by a Texas registered engineer.
Getting more bids is always fine with us. Comparing two or three on a foundation job is sensible, and we'll never steer you away from it.
Keeping the Guides Honest
The guides and town pages are meant to be useful whether or not you ever pick up the phone.
Soil figures come from the USDA soil survey, and rock from the USGS state geologic map. Home ages come from the Census. Floodplains come from FEMA's maps, and lake easements from the Corps of Engineers. Permit and watering rules are taken from the town or water provider that sets them.
Price figures come from averages and ranges that repair companies posted themselves. Each figure says where it came from.
No payment changes any of that. A fee can't move a soil figure, narrow a price range or soften a permit rule.
If No One Is Free
In some parts of our area, no company may have room for new work. If that's your situation, you'll hear it from us, rather than your request going somewhere it will sit unanswered.
